About Unity VBC

Our mission is to provide a positive and competitive environment where players can train to be the best volleyball player that they can possibly be. It is our desire that our players will develop skills and knowledge that will assist in their success on and off the court.

We celebrate relationships, character and success through athletics and feel passionate about using volleyball to enhance community, leadership and opportunity for all.

Season

Our season runs from December through May.  Competitions begin in January and you can expect to have two tournaments each 4-5 months from January through April.  All of our teams will compete in one weekend tournament (Regionals) in May, usually the 2nd weekend.

Travel

Many of the tournaments your child will play in will be in the Portland area and most will be a one day tournament.  The club does not cover any travel expenses.  if and when there is a two day tournament, any hotel fees will be the responsibility of the player.  If any player has transportation issues to a tournament, please contact your coach or director and we will assist with transportation, to the best of our ability.

Financial Commitment

Unity VBC has a strong commitment to keep the cost of club volleyball as low as possible.  For that reason, the costs assumed by the players are the actual costs for participation.  Fees vary based on the length of the season and the number of players per team.

We strive to keep our costs down and will make great efforts to gain sponsorships, donations and fundraising when possible.
